Midshipman Geoffrey William Francis, 21, of the United States Naval Academy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Francis of District Heights, Washington, D.C. died instantly early Saturday morning, 13 July 1968, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Washington, DC.
Surviving are his parents; three brothers, James with the U.S. Navy in Vietnam, Richard and Christopher, at home, two sisters, Susan and Betsy at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Culliford of New Castle; and Mrs. William B. Francis of Minerva, Ohio, formerly of New Castle.
Funeral arrangements are being made by Wilhelm Mortuary Suitland, MD. A military service will be held at 3 PM tomorrow, 16 July 1968 in Washington D.C.
